Hula Girls

After dinner we walked around Whaler's Village. There were some darling Hula Dancers performing in the courtyard. There was one little one in particular, who reminded me of my sister (Lou!) She hula-ed faster and better than all the other girls! At one point she even made her way to the front of the stage, and when everyone stopped...she kept going!! The best part was when their teacher asked them to hula as fast as they could, she put her head down and shook her hips as fast and as hard as she could. I laughed so hard I cried! It was a great way to end our trip here! Now, were off to bed...we have a long day of packing and hanging out waiting for our 9 P.M. flight out of here!
See you all Tuesday!

My favorite Hula Girl!
You can totally tell by her skirt how fast she is going!

She is in the front row, last one on the right....girl can shake it!

Sunset Dinner

We had a great last dinner on the beach tonight.
This was our sunset view!

A Relaxing Day

We spent today hanging around the hotel. We did a little sunbathing by the pool and then had a great lunch at the terrace restaurant. Now we are going to take a nap until dinner! Such a rough time were having here!!

The Bay Course

This is the beginning of the Bay Course where Dan played on Wednesday

Dinner in Pukalani

Tonight we celebrated Bre and Ryan's birthdays at
Dan and Dan's house.
They have a great house on a golf course with a view of both
the north and south shores of the island
It was nice to see what the non-resort part of Maui looked liked!

All I wanted was one nice picture....

Trip to Wailea

The boys did a little snorkeling today.
I sat on the beach with my House of Coffees cup (see below)

Who knew snorkeling could be this hot!?!

The highlight of the trip was the turtles! Dan swam right next to one!

The Snorkel Boys!

For our friends at House of Coffees...

This cup was the home of my "adult" beverage all day!

Dan and Gorillas in the Mist

Our new house!

Dan found out he is getting a raise.....
So, here we are in front of our new beachfront house! ;)

This is what happens when I take Dan in public...

We spent some time at Whaler's Village today.
We did a little shopping and had a great lunch,
Dan as usual found more than one way to entertain us....
Unfortunately the picture with the giant gorilla wouldn't download! Darn!

Dan getting eaten by a Sperm whale....

In case you couldn't read what I wrote,
Dan points out exactly what kind of whale it is!

The Capitan!

Huck Finn, he was called for this fashion statement!

The Wedding...

Bre and Ryan' wedding was really great.

We have arrived!

Well, we made it! I didn't really take any good pictures so, this is as good as it gets for now.
I'll take more tomorrow!

This was the brightest, biggest and most beautiful rainbow we have ever seen!

View from the room....The asked if we wanted to upgrade to an ocean view,
but when Dan found out we were on the golf course he declined!

The bathroom: shower is to the left (in front of the toilet) and tub is to the right

The room! So how cool is this...Mom....they clean our rooms twice a day!
And maid just came to our door to turn down our bed, we said no because we are all ready in it!
The hotel is really great and clean. Tomorrow is golf for Dan and a massage for Nicole!
