Cruised the hood tonight with Vi on dads back! What a nice break to not have to push, pull or carry! I'm liking this!

All cooped up

Since we've been stuck inside I haven't been taking many pictures! We did leave the house today for two walks. Yes I said two walks. Two dogs equals two walks :) and a short car ride yesterday was fun! Since vi can't be around other kids it's hard to do anything!
Today we had our lunch as a picnic in the living room. Vi loved it! She was laying down snacking, rolling all over. And ate all her lunch to boot! Guess we'll be doing that more often!

Hand Foot Mouth Fun

Ok, not very fun! But not terrible yet thankfully! Vi has Hand Foot and Mouth Disease which is a lovely virus. So far is hasn't reared its ugly head in the form of a fever and major crankiness, but I'm not counting any chickens.
I must say, it's not a bad gig being sick in this house. You get whatever you want!
Even though it might get worse I'm thankfully it's just a virus that will go away. We have friends battling so much more so we'll gladly handle this for a week.

Working for the weekend.

He's back! And we're all very happy about it! Life with a cranky working dog who isn't working isn't fun at all!!

The big 3-0!

That's right. A 3 and a 0 makes 30. Which is now my age! Not so bad though. No knee creaking, no back aches, feeling pretty good! :)

Busy few weeks!

... And I took off running! (after I grabbed my camera of course!) looks like this mountain climber has taken things to new heights. Pun intended, haha! I crack myself up!

Snail Biter

In attempt to keep her awake and semi-pleasant as we work on nap times and bed times, we've been spending a lot of time outside!
On this day Vi enjoyed rubbing dirt on her legs, exfoliating I guess, running around the yard and eating a snail. Well, biting a snail.
We found the little guy and as i explaining what it was a about to show her how we throw them in the street as sneaky as ever she took him, (I assume it was a boy snail) turned her back, ran just far enough away and crunch!!! She wasn't so thrilled with that after taste! Yuck!! She didn't actually bite any off I think the second it hit her tongue she realized her mistake! Good lesson to learn!!

Violet the Fairy

This girl is a crack up over this outfit. Who would have thought that my dirt loving, snail eating (will post that next!) furniture climbing child would love a dress up outfit!
Every time I pull this out and put it on her she gets so excited. Once transformed into Violet the fairy and runs, wands things with a "poof!", and laughs non-stop. I never thought of be the mom to enjoy this dress up stuff but when I get a reaction like that how can I not?!
