It's all in the name!

We feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to introduce Violet Olsson Grauman to Col. Pat Olsson. This little girl doesn't know how special her name is just yet and we can't wait to share that with her. Uncle Pat lives in Texas and we didn't know when we would be able to get these Olsson's together ;) Thanks to a family wedding we didn't have to wait long or travel far!

We met on September 11th. Fitting since we were celebrating our freedom and so thankful to our soldiers that day. Dan and pat are both Marines! Uncle Pat has also lived in NY which made Violet's shirt even more appropriate! A really special day all around.

This is probably my favorite picture. Funny how Uncle Pat and Violet just knew each other. They were so connected the instant they met.

Well, you can't be happy all the time! ;)

3 Months

The little butternut squash is 3 months old! Or, was, 3 months old on September 17th. ;) She turning into quite a character. She loves attention, doesn't stop moving and is ever so curious. We pretty much love her, funny how that worked out?!

Milestones:

• WE ROLL! It's not consistent but she can roll both ways.
• WE SCOOT! I have to lay her down on the far end of the crib and always find her on the opposite end.
• WE SWIM! well, not quite on our own yet, but we're getting there! I take a bath with her every night and we practice floating on our back and getting comfortable in the water. She should be ready by the 2028 Summer Olympics.
• WE TALK! This girl has a voice and knows it! Laughing, babbling, cooing, oh and don't forget screaming! She's a pro at it all.
