..We decided to cut down a big beautiful tree! Ok, so not really in honor of the Earth, that would have been rude. We actually did it for completely selfish and cosmetic reasons. All the better right?!
Here's our pretty tree on the day of her death...If she was an animal, I would have found her a new home. But alas, re-homing a tree isn't as easy. So she fell (literally!) victim to our selfish desires for a cleaner yard.
And.... she's down!
Lots of brush! Thank goodness for Nick and our nice neighbor Leo, who said he has always hated that tree and came to help pick it up! One neighbor wasn't so thrilled with us. But, hey, can't please everyone!
